COMPASSIONATE WOMEN’S THERAPY IN DENVER FOR OVER A DECADE

About the Women’s Counseling Center of Denver

Relationship Counseling, Anxiety Therapy, and Self-Esteem Support—All in One Safe Space for Women

You’re the One Everyone Counts On — But Who’s There to Support You?

A young woman in Denver is looking out a window in a dark room. She looks pensive and is wearing dark clothes. She is considering women's counseling.

You’re smart. Insightful. Successful. You’ve built a good life. You’re the go-to person for your friends, your family, your work. But something inside still feels unsettled.

Maybe you’re managing anxiety behind the scenes. Maybe you’re overthinking every conversation or questioning your worth in a relationship. Maybe you're successful in so many areas of life, but feel like you're constantly fighting yourself just to keep up.

You’ve read the books. Done the work. But nothing seems to shift in the way you need it to.

That’s where we come in.

At the Women’s Counseling Center of Denver, we provide thoughtful, personalized therapy for women who are ready for deeper change — not just to feel better, but to understand themselves, grow and create more fulfilling lives and relationships.

Who We Help

A young couple is lying on their backs on the floor with moving boxes around them after relationship therapy in Denver.

We work with women in Denver and across Colorado who are tired of managing everything on their own. Women who are successful in many ways, but are ready to finally feel more calm, more connection and more clarity on the inside.

Many of our clients come to us navigating:

🌿Anxiety, overwhelm and overthinking

🌿Relationship stress or feeling stuck in painful patterns

🌿Dating challenges and self-doubt around love and connection

🌿People-pleasing, perfectionism or burnout

🌿A loss of self — feeling disconnected from who they are and what they want

🌿Big transitions like divorce, motherhood, career changes or identity shifts

You don’t need a diagnosis or a crisis to start therapy. If you’re ready for something to feel different, that’s more than enough.

OUR GUIDING PRINCIPLES

Growth

We’re 100% focused on helping you gain a better understanding of yourself and reach your goals for therapy.

Compassion

We operate from a place of respect and compassion for ourselves, our clients and others.

Safety

Our counselors prioritize the quality, depth and emotional safety of each therapeutic relationship.

With the right support, you can:

🌿Break free from the anxiety and self-doubt that leave you second-guessing everything.

🌿Feel closer to your partner—and more like yourself—in your relationship.

🌿Recognize the patterns that keep you stuck in relationships and finally begin to shift them.

🌿Speak up for yourself with clarity and confidence—without guilt or overexplaining.

What makes the Women’s Counseling Center of Denver different?

A happy group of women in Denver are toasting while taking a selfie at a wedding.

We’re not a large group practice with rotating providers. We’re a boutique team of seasoned women’s therapists in Denver who are deeply committed to quality, connection and care.

Here’s what you can expect from us:

A personalized approach — We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all women’s therapy. We get to know you, understand your goals and tailor our approach to meet your needs and preferences.

Depth + strategy — We blend relational, insight-based therapy with practical, here-and-now tools to help you make real and lasting change. Our team draws from CBT, EMDR, psychodynamic therapy and more.

A safe, non-judgmental space — Whether you're untangling a lifetime of overthinking or navigating a painful breakup, you’ll be met with warmth, curiosity and respect — not pressure or pathologizing.

A team that truly cares — We do this work because we believe in the power of therapy and the resilience of women. Our clients often tell us they’ve never felt so understood — and that’s exactly what we aim for.

Our Therapists

We’re proud to be a team of women counselors who genuinely care about walking beside you through life’s most complex and meaningful work. Each of our therapists brings their own personality, specialty, and therapeutic style — so whether you’re looking for someone who’s direct and strategic or reflective and relational, we’ll help you find a fit that feels right.

How We Help

A waist up photo of a young woman with long brown hair wearing glasses and a gray sweater standing in front of fall trees.

We use an integrative approach to women’s counseling that’s grounded in both emotional insight and practical change. You’ll gain tools to better manage your emotions, set boundaries and communicate clearly — while also understanding the deeper patterns and experiences that shape you.

Some of our most commonly used modalities include:

  • EMDR for trauma, stuck beliefs and distressing memories

  • CBT for managing anxiety, perfectionism and thought spirals

  • Relational & psychodynamic therapy for uncovering patterns and healing attachment wounds

  • Mindfulness & self-compassion tools for calming your inner critic

  • Boundary and communication work for relationships that feel more mutual and safe

This is women’s counseling and relationship therapy that meets you where you are — and helps you move toward the life and relationships you actually want.

After therapy you can feel:

  • More confident and secure

  • Calmer and more able to manage anxiety or overwhelm

  • Clearer in your boundaries, values and voice

  • Less reactive and more emotionally grounded

  • Free from patterns that once felt impossible to change

  • Reconnected with who you really are — not just who you thought you “should” be

Session Fees & Insurance

We know cost is an important part of deciding to start therapy, and we’re here to be upfront and supportive as you explore your options.

Session Rates
Individual therapy sessions range from $75 to $185 depending on your therapist and the length of your session (50, 75, 90, or 120 minutes). Our signature bi-weekly women’s group Closer: A Group for Women Creating Healthy Relationships is $60 per group.

Using Insurance
We don’t bill insurance directly, but many of our clients use out-of-network benefits for reimbursement for their sessions. If you’re not sure what your plan covers, we’re happy to help you look into it and provide the paperwork you’ll need to submit.

Some clients choose not to use insurance to protect their privacy or to avoid long waits to see a therapist. Whatever your situation, we’re here to talk through what feels right for you.

You don’t have to carry it all alone.

You’ve held it together when things were falling apart. Maybe you’ve been trying to figure this out for years — or maybe something recent just cracked open what you can’t ignore anymore.

Either way, you’re here. And that matters.
